Shibuya Guide

Places

Only places I've actually visited, with practical notes for navigating them as a visitor.

Station & Scramble Crossing

The loud, bright heart of Shibuya: station exits, the crossing, and the streets immediately around them. It is busy at almost every hour, so practical stops matter here.

Center-gai

A dense pedestrian street of casual food, fashion, and late-night energy. Expect crowds, music, and plenty of quick decisions.

Notes from this area are coming soon.

Dogenzaka & Maruyamacho

The slope west of the station, where everyday meals meet bars and Shibuya nightlife. Side streets become quieter as you climb.

Udagawacho

A compact zone for record shops, small restaurants, and culture around the park-side of central Shibuya. It rewards a slower wander.

Notes from this area are coming soon.

Oku-Shibuya / Kamiyama & Tomigaya

A calmer, café-rich pocket beyond the crowds near Yoyogi Park. Come for a neighborhood pace and independent places.
